Boutigue where vintage is pop
The history of the shop goes back about a hundred years to the railway station area of Urjala, where Armas and Berta founded a general store. Armas’s brothers, in turn, were glassmakers.
Thanks to them—and to many others who have carried on the tradition of collecting—the present-day shop in the wooden office building of the Nuutajärvi Glassworks is filled with one beautiful item after another.
Here, vintage truly means vintage.
Welcome to come and discover your own treasures! ✨

who is Mimosa helander
I am a woman who has recently crossed the milestone of fifty and who deeply values tradition.
I grew up surrounded by a general store, musicians, and glassmakers—and that is where my love for everything old and beautiful began. In earlier times, objects were made to last, and they were designed to be beautiful without compromising their usefulness.
Glass, with its timeless beauty, has always been especially close to my heart. That is why you will find many glass pieces in my shop as well. The durability and permanence of glass bring a sense of continuity in a world that can sometimes feel uncertain.
It brings me great joy to share these objects—and their stories—with visitors.
With love,
Mimosa Helander ✨
